As a reminder this crisis is an unprecedented event. I believe the governments had a book on how to deal with a pandemic but of course it would be a rough plan due to the nature of the event. Did they act fast enough ? Could they have done more ? Hindsight is always 20/20 and of course everyone has their own opinion. At the start there wasn't enough PPE available for hospital/medical/first responders but had there been we may have all been wearing masks months ago to help slow the spread. While some can't wait to get back to normal they best learn how to deal with the new normal because I'm sure the medical professionals are rewriting that emergency book on how to deal with a pandemic.
As I post this Ontario reports 112 new cases and 2 deaths due to COVID 19 for Tuesday July 5th. So far 8711 COVID 19 related deaths Canada wide.
