I have not seen his post so cannot comment on that, I am sure there will be a few changes in the legislation ,not unlike any new laws.

Many laws (legislation) do get vetted, often are changed, or re-worded. Agree
Two things.
The OIC
their brainfart. If your going to pull a stunt like this. Set the country aflame over a wedge issue. No loose bolts. Utter incompetence and they aren’t even smart enough to figure that out. And the “silent majority” is seeing it, whether they are pro, lukewarm, undecided on bans..... On full display..
BBs tweet yesterday gas lighting the CSAAA. If it’s simply a matter of new legislation that should be tweaked. Aka “no big deal happens all the time”
Your not running to twitter in damage control mode. It’s “par for the coarse”

Agreed, except changes are usually done by debate in the house and finally the Senate, where clearer heads prevail. Of course, this law, rushed through by an OIC to capitalize on the tragedy out east, for purely political reasons, didn’t benefit by further scrutiny. The results are indicative of the ineptness or outright deception of Billy Liar.....
No it isn't. Banning COVID-19 and banning certain types of firearms would be equally effective.
I'm not sure what kind of crazy video link that was but I shut it off after they started talking about discarded fetal tissue and diseases.

Lol.
Kinda funny that Gilroy's last post is 666 of the thread. (As viewed in tapatalk) Truly representative of the deceitful side.

Fantastic. If 4 in 5 Canadians could explain to me what an assault rifle is or how our current gun laws already work, that might mean something to me. Currently it only means something to those who will exploit the uninformed to buy votes.
Same as it would be if they attempted to ban a virus, the problem would still persist.

Fitting somehow... he uses a poll where 73% of the participants do not own a firearm, hence probably know little or nothing of the laws too. Most on that poll wanted handgun bans too... even with all the requirements there... given the fact that chiefs of police say it will have no effect, the Nova Scotia shooter as evidence that criminals don't obey laws etc. it ranks up there with a poll of bike riders saying we should ban cars since they don't use them
I don't think the Angus Reid folks know when they call around the general population if they are getting a gun owner or not,to my knowledge its a cross country sampling. As such it will probably reflect in a cross country general election. Not that I,am suggesting any party in the future
will decide on a "vote for me I,am bringing back assault rifles policy", that is probably not going to happen.
