Trying to take a page from the Canadian Firearm Act are we?

There have likely been more shootings in Chicago in the past 48 hours alone than many realize...

Most of these shootings are from heavily gun controlled states. Record # of murders, mostly from handguns. So if the libs were honest, they would admit they just want to ban all guns. But they'll keep framing the average American as the problem.

The Danforth shooter didn't have his rpal, and didn't have legally acquired firearms.

No surprise they are declining Joe -- look who is being imported in droves to our shores. Not Christians.
They are already being prosecuted, not just overseas but here as well.

The 'conservatives' couldn't even conserve the ladies room or the basic definition of things like marriage. So they do it to themselves also.
I've seen a big change on social mores in my lifetime and I'm not nearly as old as you.

Badenoch your missing the whole point of this post - years ago guns were more readily available then they are today - you could go to a hardware store or a Sears and buy a gun like you would a broom - but there wasn't mass shootings like today and there wasn't the murders that are now occurring in the big cities like Chicago - as pointed out - it wasn't the availability of guns that is causing this - it's the things I mentioned

Countries like Canada, the UK and Australia do not allow free and open access to assault rifles, high capacity magazines, concealable pistols. In Canada, we watch the same movies, see the same television and are probably less involved with religion than the U.S. None of these countries has the same frequency of mass shootings or the same level of gun violence. To say that easy access to deadly weapons by almost anyone isn't a factor in the U.S. is ignoring the obvious.

It does not classify what type of firearm used but certainly shows that it is not all related to homicide.
"Assault" type weapons that Badenoch detests would not make any difference in 60% of the deaths.

Do you not agree that if the Liberals really wanted to ban ALL guns, that they could have done it in years they had back to back Liberal governments in Canada?

The fact that most hunters in Canada still have the same gun collection they had 40 years ago is any indication they did not want to ban all guns and that is why hunters actually favored restrictions on guns not used for hunting ie Ar15's.

I do not think the criteria for entry to a country should be based on one's religion? If your going that way then presently in Canada you would be very hard up to find a medical specialist in almost any field. The vast majority of Doctors in Canada were not born here and I would bet are not Christian.

When were hunters polled to vote in favor of restricting AR15's?
It would have been political suicide and a revolt to ban all guns in Canada.
Besides, they collect way too much money in taxes from the shooting federation to ban anything.

Your religion is part of your ethnicity, or ethnos in Greek, which has historically been the correct marker of one's identity. We've been victims of identity theft here, where we now use terms like 'white guy'. What is a white guy anyways? A protestant who stopped going to church.

It's not that religion should solely determine one's entry, it's that there are many persecuted Christians from all over the world who would more easily assimilate into our historically Christian country and way of life. The argument that we must hoover up people from the 3rd world to both do the jobs that are 'beneath' us (servants, cleaners, cheap 24 hour ethnic food vendors for the drunken nights out of the urban upper class, etc.) and 'above' us (doctors) is a very racist one. In both cases it betrays our own people.

There also needs to be assimilation to the dominant culture, and not just by cheap consumerism. Learning the languages and history, understanding our values, if not converting (no Christian can force conversion) then giving reverence to the dominant religion, not setting up parallel legal systems like sharia, not making the country more like the communist dystopian hell hole you escaped, not being here for 8 months and feeling emboldened to tear down our statues and desecrate our institutions while garnering our social benefits, etc. That's the context.

The vast majority of anything can be quickly and easily changed by a very porous and lax immigration policy. Which is the whole point.

If they imported 2.5 million Hindu Indian doctors into a small country like Denmark, in what sense would it sill be Denmark?
