During time of war countries form alliances with other countries for the greater good....we hope. Canada also took part in your list of wars....we aided you. It may have been a very smart part but all in all you needed us as well . To think you did this alone is nonsense.

IIRC,three Canadian war ships patrolled inner and outer New York harbor and RCAF CF-18's flew CAP missions over the eastern US until things started to settle down during 9-11 that was made special note of and well covered by US TV broadcasters.
