That is why it would be interesting to push it into a courtroom...basically put the whole 'lockdown' on trial. As we have already seen, there really is no immanent threat to the greater population. The pandemic is adversely (medically) affecting less than 2% of the population. The vast majority of the hysteria is media fabricated.Quote:

So in this case , would it be the city who asked for the lockdown, or the Provincial Conservative government who pulled the plug? These lock downs are not mandated by the federal government, ......yet.
My guess would be the province as the power to issue orders resides with the Medical officer of Health in any given region regardless of where the lock down request comes from. The MOH receives their funding regionally within the province but their power comes from provincial legislation. My guess is that if a suit were ever launched though it would name every level of government as the modus operandi is to throw darts at everyone and see what sticks. The provincial Emergency Act also plays into things.Quote:

I have no problems to pay for a business that's gone far and above to comply with government, feeds, entertains and employs Canadians. A business that has far less or no cases at, while other businesses with higher cases remain open..Quote:
