Ottawa bound convoy

I went down last Sunday and actually the majority were unmasked, there were a few that were masked, I did see a few minorities and actually they were all unmasked. Everyone was pretty well behaved but I did see a few idiots in cars / trucks doing things like brake stances and then getting pulled over by Police which they should be. So the bouncy castle for kid's. So some Preachers. When one lead person starting talking like a Freeman and how he never signed a contract with the government he didn't have to pay taxes I started rolling my eyes.

I must admit I am also confused by this idea that they think they can form a coalition government to take power from Trudeau very strange since they don't have any elected officials??

Anyways that is my take on it. But like I said everyone was well behaved I was kind of annoyed that I could not find a chip truck since this was my first time downtown in 4 years.

The absence of visible minorities is even more noticeable when one considers about 20% of truckers in Canada fall into that category with an even higher percentage in the GTA.

Questionable local support? Have you not seen the thousands of people in various cities & towns across the country show up in -20 to cheer on the convoy? When people of all walks of life (including farmers & Mennonites) come out in great numbers like this you know there is a huge problem. I think their wives would understand, since they are fighting for such trivial things like their children’s mental health and God given right to breath. REPLY. Every country in the World imposed travel restrictions, some of the restrictions are imposed by Air Lines themselves.

They are folks who seem to have not much going for themselves in life, are prepared to use their own children as Human Shields, so they do not appear to worried about their education or mental health. Its pretty amazing the the ineptitude of the Conservatives both Federally and Provincially seems to have flown over the head of most people.

Yes, I think they finally see that by supporting this protest, they fuelled the protesters determination and gave their cause legitimacy. Now they probably are seeing the dangers of this to Canada and it’s democracy. The fund for the truckers is mainly foreign donations, surprise surprise. Foreign interference is no joke. Now they’re trying to walk it back a bit but in a positive way. They want to force the liberals to provide a plan to end the mandates. This would be a good time for the liberals to provide such a plan, regardless of dates. Just show the people you have direction. I think Trudeau should jump on this if he wants to look like he cares about the minority of people protesting. It might help diffuse this toxic situation.

Is this your opinion or a fact ?

I am having hard time finding anything that would give any stats as country of origins for over 150k donations on GoFundMe.. the original platform before the government pushed of them to some Christian website.
