Been away a few days...
I saw MSM reporting this morning that Israel says the Pfizer vaccine is now only around 64% effective.
The threat of "mandatory" may hang over a lot at the moment, but the more news like this we see the less chance anything will hold up as mandatory.

I think that is for one of the variant but it still prevents you from getting very sick.
No Vaccine protects 100% and all eventually fall over time. I just had blood work done to see what my immunity is to the childhood diseases like Chicken Pox, Measles, Rubella, Mumps and what ever else there was. Although I am still immune one has fallen quite a bit and I will have to get a new shot. Down the road at some point if I am still employed at the Hospital I will need to get that shot again.
I am not sure of the practice of other Hospitals but where I am working all vaccinations must be up to date I also have to get the 2 step TB test and must also have had the Covid Vaccinations. yes this is all a condition for employment.

These are also my final years I need 4 more years and I am done, not going to rock the boat, although it doesn't pay as much as contracting for the government I am taking a 30 - 40 grand pay cut, it's a permanent position and I won't have to worry anymore and a friend of mine who got me into computers 21 years ago at JDS will once again be my supervisor and I will be the top System Analyst which means I get to have a say.
Working for the government and seeing them hire 5 people to do a one man job (average project had 15 people on it when 3 were required), at least my job will have some meaning and I will have control and real input into things.
