One of the most vibrant of all forums on this site,the last entry in F&P was in August 2023. There's been nothing since. It's sure been cured......for the most part.:moose::moose:

I for one do not think this forum is dead. I do think it was quite sick there for a while but I believe that its health is improving. Now it is up to all OOD Forum members to get back to participating and bring it back to life.
I also think the Mod Squad has done a pretty good job but I urge them to tread carefully and not use too heavy of a hand. It is just too easy to alienate people in this day and age.
Finally, yes a lot of older members have sadly passed on. If we have a strong,vibrant forum new, younger members will join up.

That's the other thing, I don't use Facebook either :| I guess that's where most people go now to connect with people?

This came up many times in the past. Sounds very convincing, but far from fair.


As far as many members passed..........
We have lost "maybe" 10 members in the past 10 years-they may rest in piece!
A whole lot more are missing.........
Old members,"older"people,so no Facebook "issue" with them.............the ones that were here,and contributing.Many-a lot.

Good Morning
I left this for a while to think on it. I still cannot understand why asking members to get back to participating is "far from fair" Can anyone explain why? I was just thinking of the future and trying get together (the members we do have) and try to make the forum alive and relevant again so that "new younger members will join" and take us into the future.
Maybe I am missing something - I do usually check out the forum early in the morning with my first cup of coffee and my brain is not at full speed yet.
