Carbon tax - the Genius of our Government

The World needs an extra 4 trillion a year for its global transition. How else would they get it without taxes..

The sad reality is the same people who "own the science" are the same people pushing this transition and pushing our tax dollars higher.

Money money money and more money is needed. The things being tabled for the great climate emergency is mind blowing and we all need to play our part.

Saw this when it first came out our government wants 2 billion dollars to climate change for a company that doesn't even exits. The usa spent 360 billion of the transition through loans ,grants and tax dollars. Where is that money going? Rumor has it 60% of the new green tech is not even on the market yet. Bill gates fusion nuclear is on hold for the foreseeable future as the fuel comes from Russia. This is carbon tax credit scam right from our trusted government.

Okee dokee ! I think the OP was about taxing a tax ?
As far as the state of the world goes whether it be the environment or global markets, wars, plagues, etc., etc. my only advice is "save the last bullet for yourself" ! Unless there is a miracle and every man, woman and child starts rowing this boat called planet Earth in the right direction we are doomed.

But that's just my 2 cents worth and last I checked it was tax free.

Our Government SHOULD follow suit-and at least ONCE act with COMMON SENSE ,in this very critical topic.

Now they are tabling up ideas to tax your investments they want a tax on your dividends and other investments.

Why is the inflation reduction act a climate change scam? They call it inflation reduction but it's being spent on the clean energy economy. That is a scam in itself fix inflation with it not change the economy to fit their goals.
We pay a climate change tax and an inflation reduction bill being tabled to pay for climate incentives to their own shareholders and top organizations. Think I will find the article again and post in the investing thread. I can see people moving their money if that's the case.
