What if the butcher is doing 500 deer that week, He is not going to have room to store your cape and rack indoors in a freezer.
How do you convince a butcher to keep the tag? Ours said he didnt need them, He just copied info down off the tag and we took the heads home (tags still attached now month later).
Whole damn system is a joke. What would game warden charged me with for with having 3 deer heads WITH tags on, in the back of the truck after we just left the butcher?
He can charge the butcher for not keeping the tag? With what?
