Thank you for volunteering for the human trails portion of the COVID 19 vaccine. You are the case sample, for the roll out, the Guinea pig for the rest of us. If there is one thing I have learned - You dont have to ask anyone if they have been vaccinated they proudly annonce it all over the inter-webs. To take a ….non -clinical human trialed, emergency - experimental MRNA vaccine - or Gene Therapy. Good luck with that.

I will never get it - for as long as I can hold out - even then, unless they threaten me death...then maybe. My body - my choice just like women, before you start that argument. If I die - I die my way - not the states way.

For those who have had the shot what was the process you went through, which vaccine did you get, where did you have to go, did you have side effects and was anything said about the second shot?

I pre-registered online with the Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph health unit on March 11, received notice to make an appointment on March 29 and booked the earliest availability which was on April 8.

The process at the clinic set up at the University of Guelph was very smooth and took 30 minutes from arrival to departure. I received the Pfizer vaccine and written and email confirmation that I’d been vaccinated with the first shot including the brand and lot number. I was told the health unit would contact me for the second shot.

The next day I had a slight stiffness in my arm and didn’t feel quite 100 percent in the morning. By the afternoon I was back to normal.

For those who’ve had the shot(s) how did it go for you?

Hey, did you hear over in Israel and Finland thier hospitals are overcrowded with sick and dying people, shortages of oxygen and hundreds of thousands sick? Oh wait - nope. Wrong country. They have the highest vaccinated populations in the world. Must be a hoax.

I think your story is wrong ? Israel is 80 percent fully vaccinated if they have a a problem it would mean the vaccine is useless.

Might be India you are talking about and they have have a population of 1.3 billion. Big outbreaks and high numbers can be expected.

I believe that post was meant as sarcasm.

Israel's population of 9 million people is about 2/3rds that of Ontario. In January it reached a single day high of almost 12,000 new cases (equivalent to 16,000 per day in Ontario.) In the past day their new case total was 50.

Seems to be the trend with many. If people don’t agree with you rather than just explaining your position you feel the need to belittle and insult them

Cases don't mean hospitalization or ICU - You see the case count #'s are being used to control the fear narrative. And that is why your statistics are flawed.

Not my statistics but those of one of the most respected medical schools in the world.

Anyone unimpressed by case counts can look at deaths.

Or those that has comorbidity issues (old folks) died during the first wave and the rest of the population go sick (asymptomatic, mild cases etc) then recovered . The population build up a natural immunity to the virus..so death counts dropped.

Since those numbers were never tracked or even considered by the Government they have no idea how high the herd Immunity is and are instead, insisting everyone still get a vaccine. You have to ask why...

Just wondering if they stopped counting suicides, overdoses and people who died with covid as covid deaths yet?
