Not quite if you are a liberal, that mean everyone else is phobic-something.

Which one of the many that you are disagreeing with, are you talking about?
It is not my issue, it is yours! ...LOL.
IBTL....... I think this has run it's course
SAS , like in Special Air Service, in the British Army? I am good with that.
I'm in the same area. I see more an more of this all the time. No a lot of respect anymore. Ive been in the same situation myself tones of times. I had the farmer tell me I can hunt but there is already another guy in the same property. Most of the time, out of respect, I just find another property. In on instance, I talked to the other guy and came to a consensus on how we would hunt the property. But, there are some people that are just plain ignorant.
Well lets pretend you cultivate a good place to hunt for 8 years. You have a good relationship with the farmer but one day you show up and you have this situation. So you decide to share. What happens if a few other new hunters also arrive. When do you stop sharing, how often would you move on....Its simply "good manners" for the new guys to move on OR BACK to the spots they ALREADY have.Nobody is suggesting you only can have one spot, just suggesting if you have one or two already be a gentleman/lady and leave the OP alone.
If you want to limit yourself to 1 property fine however as a realist I know there is no guarantee that the property is yours in perpetuity. As a hunter that doesn't have my own land I'm beholding only to the landowner. To put game in the bag you need as many options as possible then choose the best possibility given the current conditions. If I work to secure as many properties as possible why should I penalize myself for the guy that didn't put in the same effort to maximize his options? Being a gentleman goes both ways. If the landowner gives permission then its befalls everyone to come to a cooperative agreement to use the property. If that offends you than you must move on too a property owner that gives you sole access.
Gilroy, I think the point here is you have no right NOT to share. After 8 years of hunting one spot only and obviously no intention of having back up spots, that's on Fieldtrip. Nobody else!
Spots come and go all the time. Farmers die, people move, land owners change their minds, etc. He's been lucky to have it for 8 years by himself.
He hasn't lost his spot, he's being forced to re evaluate his inventory of hunting locations. I suspect that he'll likely benefit from the whole experience.
