Are some of you guys confusing feral hogs with European boar? I think they are two different things. My buddy in Florida talks about hog hunting and he is talking about feral pigs.
I watched the Youtube link and then ended up watched several others. Some of those guys can really shoot.
I'm not a big fan of shooting running targets with a rifle however at the risk of being criticised I will say that shooting those running boars didn't seem to present the same challenges of white tail deer.
They are lower to the ground and certainly don't have the vertical leaps deer do nor speed.
Regardless, looked like a lot fun.
I am the area that this thread started on. I have not heard of anyone mentioning seeing any hogs in the bush, and my brother runs dogs all over the country. I will ask him about it but he has never mentioned it.
I don’t know if this is true. I read in a Facebook group for Ontario, that 6 wild boar have been shot in wmu 47. East of bear valley.

I shot one in western Quebec a few years ago at the in-law's farm with a SKS. They are very tough animals.
Your more likely to find sign of pigs then see them. Mud rubbed on tree trunks, mud holes that look like they could have been dug by a quad but the surrounding brush us void of quad tracks, dug up ground, etc.
