Not bothered by a few trolls, or by opposite points of view.
I feel the censorship has reach an unexceptable level..
I will be also canceling my subscription to the magazine when I get home tomorrow.
I do not wish to contribute to the financial well-being of a organization who censorship I do not agree with..

You've been on here a long time and made a significant contribution.
I think Meghan is doing a good job. Only complaint I have it that a mod needs to be on here sooner, so that threads don't get terrible/hurtful for many pages before they are dealt with. That is the secret to successful moderating.
The Moderator really only needs to keep an eye on about 4 people and only in the “Federal &Provincial politics” threads. Lots of good info passed around on hunting, fishing related threads.

I’m reasonably confident, if you couldn’t post without a Troll trying to start something. You’d reach a point....
3 or 4 days running, multiple threads. Even threads I wasn’t commenting in, “well JB”...or other comments. This wasn’t the first time or 50th.
Put up with them, don’t give them an audience? How’s that worked here? They just move to a different thread, different person, whatever....
I won’t put up with crap. Not here, not out there. nor should anyone. Everybody is human and can misread something, say the “wrong thing”. It takes 2 seconds to type “my bad”. Something I’ve done here many times. “Sarcasm”...we all know what I “meant”
Trolls trash forums. Whether they are intentionally being inflammatory, following someone like a puppy, or just creating Shyte. I’ve modded a place far larger, far busier than here. New post move to page 2 or 3 in a day.
There it’s handled very differently and it works. Here, dozens have left because....or “Snowwalker” because his issue is the censorship....

There is pretty much only one dedicated Troll on here and everyone knows who he is. There are a few others considered to be trolls but at least they contribute to the forum in both the hunting and fishing sections. This one specific Troll I did notice a week ago for their first time went and made a couple of comments in the hunting forum. I guess they did not like be called out. But yeah everyone knows very much the #1 Troll on here as he has admitted it in the past and many on here saw that. He can attempt to deflect all he wants but everyone is well aware he is a troll.
Will say GW, since I first left, things are better.
The forum I modded was huge. Hundreds if not thousands of post per day. It’s not a job I’d ever do again.
Mods would find the Trolls, instigators. And hand them tempory bans. From 1 day, to 3 weeks. The majority get the message. The few that didn’t. Permanent
Opinions
People are allowed to think the world is flat. Don’t agree? Express your opinion that it’s round...
