From what I see, not for the reason given anyway.
The Party accepted an individual as a card carrying voting member after he was vetted, and he did vote in the leadership race last year. Supposedly, he voted for Duncan as his leadership choice, but that I hear only second-hand. Sloan accepted a donation from that member back in August of last year, of which 10% of the total was gladly accepted by The Party for their own federal coffers.
It is well known there has been a falling out between The Party and Sloan for well over a year, so if they want to boot him they will. This however cannot be justified as the right reason to remove him, IMHO.

I agree with that synopsis. I guess they are trying to remove the rot, before it spreads and costs them at the poles.
the rot hasnt affected the liberals at the polls in any way...by this logic maybe the Cons should add to the rot and corruption if they want to win an election and beat Mr drink box water bottles sorta thing silly socks anytime soon...Quote:
