Good day all. Posting here after a while. First time time hunting this property on Tuesday morning, set up at 5:30, waited for the gobbles and around 6 i stareted hearing gobbling from 2 directs all within 100 yards. I made some clucks and yelps on my galss call whenever they gobble, within an hour this tom showed up, running into my Funky chicken Jake, and started beating him up pretty bad, that gave me enough time to pick up my shotty as i was 25 yrds away from the Tom and sitting behind some shrubs. Put the bead on him, pull the trigger once he turned towards me. Got out at 7am. First tom of my life. And a special thanks to Tom Gobble aka Daniel for the tips and inspiration.
