Bear down

Bear sausage coming up….,
started baiting last weekend 15 min from my camp. Was walking in today with big bag of dog food and garbage bag of table scrap. When I got to 100m shooting lane I seen boar on bait. I dropped everything and went back to truck and put dog in and grab my rifle. Went back and shot it through the heart. It travelled 40 m before expiring.
Rifle was a Sako A7 in .30-06 with Bushnell Elite 4500 2.5x10 shooting Sako Gamehead 180 gr.
Shot it at 9 am. Perfect weather at 8 degrees Celsius.
All butchered, on ice in coolers.
