My Dad took this picture today South of Egmondville. He said there were several more back in the field along the bush line.

Poor picture quality as it was his phone and he was in the truck. He reported it to the MNR via their phone reporting system.
Terminate with extreme prejudice.
I’d like to shoot one or two, but realistically, the best approach IMO would be to round them up ASAP before they get spooky. If they just got out, wouldn’t it be more effective to get them coming to feed and trap them in an enclosure?
Good luck trapping them all in one shot.

The MNR has no funding....so until they start to destroy agriculture crops and another dept of the Government kicks in funds, the boars will continue to establish themselves. Doing nothing...never solved the problem in the past, recommending we do nothing because it 'might' spread them around is poor management.
Putting a substantial bounty on them will see more results than watching the grow stronger.
I was visiting family two days ago and a wild hog was in one of their front yards, this was in Cedar Springs just north of Dundas Street in Burlington.
Mind you I had a full grown fox in my back yard in central Mississauga a week ago sniffing around where the dog goes. This think left by jumping the 5 foot fence like a cat and walking along the 2x4 rail all the way down the yards. No wonder the bunnies are going missing around here.
