Had time for an hour walk today, probably my worst shooting yet, 12 flushes got one and a few poplars and balsams lol. Anyways have one for lunch ��

Don't sweat it, topped a few trees a season when after woodcock. Always feel a good prunning helps the trees anyways.

That's why it's called hunting, time well spent

ONE bird is sometimes ALL I get the whole season, and I am not counting all the leaves and branches!
