Why not, use it for activities like that makes sense. I use my cargo trailer to haul my ATV to the hunt site and then pop up the cot/mattress and sleeping bag. Small genny for an electric heater and bar fridge/freezer.
I made a post about my parents going on a big road trip. Ever since they got the towable rv they went camping alot more than usual and they went on a crazy road trip to Yellowstone. It is very much easier than having ti set up a tent tarps unpack your whole truck etc.

wow nice hunting camp for sure. I could glamp and hunt very easily with that, the wife may even want to come once in a while.

I am not to sure about this making a bed in the back of a pickup truck we had the camp boss try that one year on a Moose hunt and he literally froze his a-- of the first night. In the meantime I was in a tent with a small propane heater nice and warm and cosy, yes I am still alive so it was well vented.
There's a trick to truck box bunking. Most people like to use air matresses because they smooth out the ridges on the bottom of the box. Truck steel combined with air in the mattress conducts and transfers cold better than a refrigerator. Placing a piece of carpet underlay over the air mattress and rolling a cold weather sleeping bag over provides unparalled insulation and toasty warmth on the coldest nights.Quote:
