Looking for opinions on a a new set of tires for my truck. My driving will be about 70/30 highway and gravel backroad. The backroad part is where I need a tough tire, able to handle sometimes big rocky gravel and mud. Just wondering what some of you are running on your trucks?
I've been running Michelin Defender LTX 265 75R16 for a few years now and love them. I'm also 70% on pavement. Nice quiet tire but great on bush roads.
Can't go wrong with BF Goodrich T/A KO2. I have them on my Ridgeline and I am happy with them. They are available is many sizes and ratings. I have also used Goodyear Duratracs, and I really liked those, but they might be too aggressive for your needs.
I've always had good luck with the Michelins, wouldn't change them for anything else.Quote:
