Very cool! I will only own an Excalibur now. Best warranty around and I can fix anything on my bow if an issue ever comes up with basic hand tools.
Tried the compound crossbow route and it can be a real PITA in so many ways... :)
Good article ....Congrats Bill and Kath .
I had the Exocet and love it. Decided to go the compound crossbow route for a few years and then went back to Excalibur. I will never have another brand.
l got into bow hunting at the perfect time, I bought a matrix 380 the year they came out, then bought my son a micro 355 when they came out. My son no longer hunts so now I have both. Have killed many deer with both. Have never had an issue with either one. they are great bows.
Excalibur has great products of which i have owned more than a few. As long as they stay Canadian i will always own one
Bill T also fought for us to be able to use a crossbow during the archery season.
My brother and I bought one of his first wolverine crossbows he made.... My best guess is, it was in 1988.... We bought it in the afternoon, sighted it in the shop we bought it at in Brampton (don't remember the name) and then went out and shot my first deer with it that evening. I remember us returning to the bow shop that evening (that sold it to us), so we can brag because for sure they thought we were losers when they first seen us..... (City boys)
They were surprised and impressed but did comment on the fact we did not gut it yet.... Oh well, we were young and didn't know better at the time....
About 15 years ago, I got Bill to autograph my robin hood arrow for me, that was pretty cool :)
great products, great service and they earned the reputation. i remember the good old days hanging around the bowshop and the Excalibur boys always treated us well and were always up for shop talk and stories.
I got the matrix 380 first year they came out. I have since upgraded the scope, put on a custom Boo string, and put a charger EXT crank on a couple years ago when I had a damaged tendon in my wrist and couldn't c**k it. Wouldn't trade this one for anything.
