Hi Pbonura, I realize your OP was made years ago but I'm super interested in Coyote hunting now and I live in Burlington. I just picked up a Savage Axis in 223 and looking forward to putting it to use. I'm making sure I sight it in within this week for either 100 or 200 yards and then I'm good to go. Let me know if you still need a coyote hunting partner.
Thank you
id love to take my 223 for a hunt as well if you guys are headed out and would have me!
cheers

So the coyote hunting time is towards the fall then?
Thank you
I guess if you have a conscience then it's the morally right thing to do.
I used to be compassionate but not any more! There's a reason there is no closed season on them!
I'll be out for turkeys this week and if I see a coyote I WILL shoot it. One spring I got 5!
I lost another doe this year to those rascals after waiting 2 hrs to go retrieve it.
If a litter of 6 or 8 die then so be it!
One thing we don't need is 6 or 8 more of them come the fall and also the amount of fawns it will take to feed them!
Well roughly a week ago; when my girlfriend came over, my parents, her and me went for a drive. She said oh look a fox? Dad turned (I was driving) and he said no that's a coyote. I said "in middle of daylight? in parking lot? in middle of the city?" Dad answered "yup that was a yote"
