Brookies with the BILaw....
Well last Saturday I was asked to get My BILaw busy so the family could
set up for his surprise B-day party. Didn't take to long for me to offer to take him
fishing...we've been talking about it for a while.
Now I know I've promised a few of you a day at my Brookie spot but more than two at
a time is just crazy on this small creek.....your time will come!!
Any way, he was at my door at 6am with a lunch and pops packed.
On the ride up I explained to him what was to come and he thought he was ready for it.
He never complained but he does think I'm a little nuts after the hour or so walk into the bush.
With shoulder high weeds...deadfall...marsh....spider webs....mosquitos....nettles(?) and all of
this in the middle of nowhere I'm sure he was thinking he would never come again.....until we started
fishing!!!!! 30 or so 6-8 inchers changed his mind in a hurry.

Now I didn't want to keep this one out of the water too long and I couldn't find my tape measure
but with my hand measurements this may have beat my PB of 12 inches from last year.
We called it "A good 12 inches for sure"....what a battle this gave me on my new UL set up!!!!

Thats all for now....all caught on spinners....size 0...mine blue....his gold...both worm tipped.
All fish released to be caught when they are atleast 13 inches!!!!!
