If I hadn't of wanted a pointing / hunting breed for a dog I would own an Airedale myself. Love that breed.
His father a couple days ago ran a grizzly up a tree, his mother hunts elk. both are excellent grouse hunters but they will flush not point. He also has web feet. I have spent the day with my grandsons and he is beyond fantastic with them. I think I made a good choice.
