I'm hoping beyond hope that no members from here were involved but rumour has it some folks got busted for fishing pickerel in Magnetawan in the fish sanctuary . Had fish too . Come on there are even signs posted and many of the spawners are milked to stock other lakes . Very bad .

Shame on them. Small town, word will come out soon enough who it was.
I notice the MNR is posting signs in Chinese and Korean along the fish sanctuary rivers which didn't open until yesterday.

Well it wasn't locals . We know better . At one time the MNR would even sit there at night to make sure nobody took them during the spawn .

The MNR may still be sitting there. You may not see them but they may be watching you!!
