So, no pics of that big fish, that is over the slot size, even if that species is in season. That seems harsh. How do you know if it is in or out of the slot if you do not measure it?
They have to give the black and white answer so that people don't abuse the issue if they don't. I'll bet most officers will use a fair bit of discretion on this one.
