2 hour fishing trip with a pretty American girl

Some of you may recognize her too if you follow any of Dead Ringers posts ;)

We had a 2 hour window to fish today so I thought I'd share a few of our funny incidents.

1. Laura snagged a 'weed' within the first 10 minutes. Obviously hung up, she requested I move the boat to her line. I took her rod and after a few pulls got her un snagged and reeled in...with a fish covered by slop on the end of the line.... we called it a half catch each.

2. She took a turn running the MudBoat and drove it like a champ. Noone got thrown out so it's a win - I'd say. No sunglasses were lost.

3. Last 2 minutes of fishing, I top water over some lily pads and splash! Big take. I hammer the rod to set the hook and BANG!!!
My old rod breaks. El chepo shimano from the 90s.

I start pulling it in by hand and found there was still a fish on the other side.

Final count was 11 fish in 2hrs 8 minutes.

I let the girl out of my sight for a few days and next thing you know, there's pictures of her on the net :O At least I saw her here and not on the Chive. Never know with Buzz.

I have to agree with the other guys, I was looking forward to more pics of her and less of your mug :p

And TR, I do not get insulted by positive comments about my wife's looks. So long as they are respectful, I take it as a compliment.
