Good start and hooked

2 weeks ago, i participated in an hrc test with my 7 month golden retriever. I never considered doing hunt tests with my puppy but my breeder said to get it a shot. Well I must say I am hooked, my little guy impressed me by doing retrieves in distances that we never practiced. He past both days and now he is two steps closer to getting his first title. I would like to say that people at the hrc test were a good group of people that had wide loads of knowledge. I am now planning to participate in future hrc test and other field trials because I am hooked. I would recommend to anyone.

Participating in events is a real bonus in owning a dog. Lots of friends made too. Congrats. (I found that the dog amazed me at events , as in your case, or totally bombed for no obvious reason- glad your dog did well. :) )

I was at that test my hunting partner judged you on saturday glad you had a good time enjoy the journey with your pup. Did you get your dog from Tidewater ?

Yes, my pup is a tidewater. I must say the breeder helped out a lot in the training part.
