Yeah he is handsome if I do say so my self. Hes eating around 6 cups of large breed puppy food a day, and we go outside about 2 dozen times a day haha. He has been good with children so far, my girlfriends sister has an 18 month old daughter who is all over him. We still aren't sure who is more scared, Lou or the baby. She is constantly trying to shove one of his toys in his mouth and he just lays there and gives her a very unimpressed/I'm lazy look.
On a side note, I understand he is a big dog especially for my first dog. My girlfriend saw him and immediately would not be talked out of getting him. We have been working hard at training him early everything from sit and stay to not pulling on the leash, not to jump up on people, we are trying to keep him off furniture (the girlfriend wants him to sleep on the bed so mixed feelings in that area). He has ample chew toys and so far we haven't had any problems with him chewing furniture or anything in the house except his own toys.
