Lots of Action on the Scrape Cams - Updated

Very nice.... good luck !!!!

The buck with the crab-claw is awesome. Lots of mass and some character there too. The others are nice deer, but would be monsters in a year or two if they make it through. But if it is like my area (Paris/Ayr), there are trucks on every side of the concession and QDM is not in the local vocabulary. Guys also push pretty hard through here and most of those groups go with the "if it's brown, it's down" philosophy. Not judging, it just makes getting a really nice, mature buck that much more difficult and satisfying. Good luck with those.

Good luck with those big boys.

Well the busy scrape cams have been pretty quiet the last week and an half. We got lucky and rattled in the buck in the first picture the Sunday before the shotgun hunt and my buddy made a nice shot. Here are a few pics since the first bunch. Still looking for Mr. Big!

After very little action the first 2 weeks of November, the scrape cams are starting to get some more visits. A few of the bucks on the list have survived the shotgun hunt, and are back! After the first rut in November I find the scrape action trails off into mid-December. Still lots of season left.....
