Along the same lines, Google "Ralph Bice ",from Kearney On. lived till age 97 , trapped Algonquin area, probably new every tree in Algonquin Park.
There is a lake named after him in Algonquin Park; Ralph Bice Lake, a great tribute to an "Grand Old Trapper ".
Very good story and I agree with Jaycee if you haven't read :along the trail: by Ralph Bice you are really missing out.
