2016 Toronto Sportsman show on the move and back to March

Got this email today.

MULTI-YEAR AGREEMENT
The Canadian National Sportsmen's Shows is pleased to announce that a multi-year agreement has been finalized that will see the 69th edition of the Toronto Sportsmen's Show being held March 16-20, 2016 at The International Centre, located at 6900 Airport Road in Mississauga.

RETURN TO A 5 DAY FORMAT
Canada's Greatest and Most Historic Sportsmen's Show will return to its traditional five day format at The International Centre.

EASILY ACCESSIBLE LOCATION AND FREE PARKING
Jennifer Allaby, Ontario Regional Manager of the Canadian National Sportsmen's Shows and Show Manager of the Toronto Sportsmen's Show is excited by the prospects offered by this new venue.
"The International Centre is positioned in the middle of the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), at the junction of seven major Ontario highways. It's also one of the only facilities of its kind to offer free parking for over 5,000 vehicles. The benefit of complimentary parking at The International Centre is that it dramatically lowers the cost of attending the show", said Allaby.

LISTENING TO EXHIBITORS AND ATTENDEES
"In discussions with many of our valued exhibitors and attendees it became very clear that they preferred the show's traditional family oriented March Break dates" remarked Walter Oster, Chairman & CEO of the Canadian National Sportsmen's Shows. "I am sure everyone realizes how difficult it is to relocate a show the size of the Toronto Sportsmen's Show, therefore I am extremely pleased that we have been able to enter into a new long term agreement with The International Centre to hold the 2016 Toronto Sportsmen's Shows on the March Break time slot."

LAYOUT AT THE INTERNATIONAL CENTRE WORKS WELL FOR THE SPORTSMEN'S SHOW

This might be too little too late. I really enjoyed going to the sportsman show as a kid and young adult, but I've changed and so has the industry and the show. Maybe I'll return.

I would likely go if it's in the International Ctr. Good move. I despise going downtown Toronto.

I think I'll take the kids again its been 3yrs since we went and see how they do up there. I'm interested to see what they set admission prices at since the old shows up there were always reasonably priced.

I like the fact that they moved it back to March as it will be easier to get away with them.

Count me in. I HATE going to Toronto. You can't do an effing thing in that city without having to pay somebody for something.

Yep. International Ctr has free parking. Maybe they can bring back the retriever demonstrations. Who doesn't like to watch that?

This is a step in the right direction.... I will be there.... :)

Totally agree. Most sportsman attendees drive vehicles anyway, and free parking and better access to highways makes perfect sense. Another reason I boycott the auto show as I preferred the days it was at the International Centre.

Positive change, will likely make me return for another view.
