I was moving wood from the wood pile to the wood room and I found a Bat under one of the pieces of wood. I put the wood back and moved some of the other wood. Nice to see one of these around. Who needs a bat house, when you have a wood pile!

Must be the only bat in Bruce County!! haven't seen one all summer, I think the mosquitoes got them!
We see a couple every night around our place. Now I know why!
Cool Glad too see them around White Mouth almost got rid of them all
Seen a couple around the house in Ancaster this summer ( like 4 all summer ) and nothing at the cottage between Bracebridge and Haliburton where it used to be common to see 20 to 30 buzzing around the dock at dusk. I hope they can recover and make a comeback.

Saw one the other night; It's the first bat I've seen since I moved here 7 years ago.
I have two using the bat box on my house this year. Theyre out every night. Have only seen a couple at the cottage this year.
