A great week of Moose
Lucky enough to get a Bull tag in our area.
Gangs all ready to spend some time to track down our trophy. First run (60 min) some signs but nothing. Second run all set up, 15 mins into it one of the doggers spots a Cow and Calf, takes a shot at the calf but missed (much to his belief) and the calf disapears only to be replaced with our Bull a few seconds later, a couple of good quick shots he is down. with the cow and calf running off in the distance. Five hours of hard work to get it out of the bush to the camp and out come the wobbly pop to celebrate.
Some sleep in mornings and early nights made for an enjoyable restful week. Did some trail searching on the atv which landed us a calf later in the week rounded off the week perfectly. All set for deer next week.

Very nice! my buddy and his crew dropped their bull less than an hour into the season, lots of fishing for the rest of the week as calf wasn't open at the time.
