m/l hunt in southern ont.
Well the weather last week was summer like, but the deer were still active. The rut was on and we saw many bucks roaming. Opening day saw us get a beauty 8 pt. On wed. morning i had a 6pt. at 20 yds but passed him up only to have a nice 9 pt. show at 60 yds and down he went. On the last day i had saw nothing and decided to come down out of my tree stand and do somestalking through the bush. Ihad not gone far and i seen 4 deer run by ahead of me and i thought they went out into a corn field, so i proceeded slowly looking for them. To my left i heard something and saw a doe running by with a nice buck grunting in behind her. I saw an opening and when the buck showed up and the smoke cleared he was laying right where i had shot.A nice 9 pt. What an end to a great week.Attachment 31403Attachment 31404
