The last major tenet of Einstein's theory has finally been confirmed. Open's up a lot of potential doors in much the same way the discovery of the electromagnetic spectrum did (radio waves, x-rays, etc.).
Fascinating.
We were passed this at work today, nerding it up right now :)
Altering space and time - this could lead to time travel forward, but I think not backward. I wish I was young enough to see where this confirmation/discovery can take us.

A simple analogy would be to think of a blind and deaf person. Discovery and manipulation of the EM spectrum gave us things like radio, tv, cell phones, wireless, medical imaging, telescopes and the list goes on. So the EM spectrum is akin to getting one of the lost senses back.Quote:
