Hello all, I'm in the country with no upgraded phone lines to receive high speed unlimited internet, I'm also In a low lying area with a lot of higher ground around me, Can someone please help me with the best available options to receive high speed unlimited here in the sticks, Thanks!
Have you looked at xplornet ?
We had a explornet rep here approx 2yrs ago they couldn't receive a signal here
Do you have good cellphone reception? Have you looked into a data plan? Although pricey you can turn your device into a WiFi hotspot. I use it all the time for work related issues even in rural areas if a cell tower is nearby.
I wonder if they have upgraded since then.
Theres also Galaxy Broadband. I don't know anything about them, but it's worth looking into.Quote:

you need to visit a Bell store that has a lot of rural customers as the urban stores know nothing about it (it's unbelievable how disconnected and ****ed up that company is)....we used the Bowmanville store I see you are not too far
we have been with explorenet for four years and never been happy with them. Takes forever to get service from them and the signal sucks. the joys of being in the boonies.Quote:

Look them up, I have no clue where you are but you may be in their wireless area as well.
I'm in the same boat. No xplornet signal, outdated phone lines, and am outside the coverage area of any other internet services.
