Les Stroud Bigfoot

I am sure this will go downhill, but here we go anyways......

Old news I am sure, but I was watching an episode of Survivorman last night. It was an episode from last year about Les trying to find bigfoot out in BC.
I was skeptical at first and thought it was silly.
but I have a great respect for Les and decided to watch anyways.
Pretty convincing some of the stuff on the show, and he doesn't seem like the type to make up stuff/sensationalize stuff.
did a quick google search today. not too much info..
thoughts?

JMO, but it seems his show started to slide along with his marriage and he seemed to grasp at Todd Standing and Bigfoot to help boost his tv appeal. I think it was an honest interest in BF however Todd Standing's credibility only hurts Les' survivability.

Saw where Les said in his show last night that if he received an answer upon tree knocking, that he would pack up and leave.

Either you are sincerely TRYING to prove the myth(by staying upon receiving an answer and investigating)or you are just making a show to keep revenue coming. Either way, joining at the hip with a known hoaxster only causes viewers to be biased towards Les' credibility and watchability.

The part I saw that was interesting was the fact they were in the woods and Todd had a long barreled revolver on his hip in Canada.

Maybe he is a trapper or has an ATC for protection while Bigfoot hunting...........

I must've watched a different episode than you.
He was in northern BC somewhere, talking to natives. going out on his own into the bush, etc.
similar to the old show, but for shorter intervals.
the locals had much to say about the bigfoot.
it was interesting.
I know not a lot about Todd Standing but they seem to have distanced themselves from one another, based on what I read online?
I know there were several episodes or a whole season devoted to bigfoot by Les.

Big Foot is interdimensional, it has the ability to travel to parallel universes at will. That’s why you’ll never see one. Really it’s true I heard it on early morning talk radio :rolleyes: Did you also know you can change the weather if you think hard enough about it?

I believe more in Cougar sightings in Ontario than big foot in BC .lol

I might have posted this in another thread,but,the best defense against a Bigfoot is to carry a camera.

I listen to the EARLY morning talk show called Coast to Coast. They often have Big Foot episodes. I think we all know there is NO Bigfoot. The premise is ridiculous. However the interesting nature of the idea makes it a money maker for books and TV documentaries.
Les Stroud is a film maker, TV personality trying to make a buck.

There are a lot of weird things in the bush and I for one would never tell anyone who essentially lived in the bush that they were a wack job but until there is evidence or I see one myself I would have to go with no on this. I do remember telling someone I saw wild pigs in the bush and they told me I was a moron until they watched them run down the road, the neighbour raised black pigs and free ranged them in the bush until the MNR found out, I was not crazy but that guy was a jerk.

Of those survivalists out there Les is probably the best, he does not do anything stupid out there to risk his own life unlike many of the other guys and if he wants to hunt to find a new primate call me when you have a picture.

I seem to recall a massive thread about the existence of Bigfoot either last year or the year before.

I wonder if they are good eating.
