CBC radio carried a broadcast with the OFAH reacting to a bill-board advertisement by Crime Stoppers in London Ontario, which stated: "GUNS ARE THE PROBLEM." The OFAH's concern was the advertisement used too broad a brush, which might create problems for law-abiding firearm owners.
To exaggerate the point: someone see an individual out crossing a field to go hunting, calls it into Crime Stoppers for the reward, and the next thing that happens is the individual is confronted with a SWAT team. NOTE: I did say this is an exaggerated incident.
