Ok might be a silly question but is there a 1 load in 12gauge that would work on both duck and goose, reason I’m asking is I’m not that fast in changing loads over etc. My shotgun is a Mossberg 935 so it will take 3” and3.5” thanks to all in advance

#2 or#3 works well
3.5" #1's
3" #2 drops em every time
3 or 3.5 #2 just know your range thats the main fact. Get them in closer rather then further
For just geese I use BB. For ducks and geese I use #2, works for both.
3" #2s will work just fine. I like to switch to BB for geese when they start getting fatty later in the season.
#2's but my first choice is #1's.
Happened on a solution for me by chance. Before the season I swapped out my Browning A5 in wood, for a skinned Baretta A350 waterfowl edition. So breaking it in, I want to use 3.5inch shells.
Suddenly, after firing a shot, for some reason I can't load three, 3.5inch shells anymore. And that despite a trip to Stoeger, where they managed to get two, 3.5inch snap caps in the tube. Come home, try to put two, 3.5 in the tube. No love.
what I've been doing, before and after the trip to Stoeger.
3.5inch #2 in the chamber
3.5inch #2 goes in the tube first
3.0inch #2 goes in the tube.
Worked like a charm charm the other day. A solo canada came in I dropped it with the first shot. That put the 3.0inch into the chamber and the 3.5inch #2 was on deck. That first shot stirred about a dozen mallards that took off flew about 100 yards, and circled back right into me.
Mallard dropped like a stone and my follow up (the 3.5inch) as they were getting out of range missed.

Think of it this way
Your first shot is almost always going to be a little longer than your second, and your third shot as they scatter away will almost always be longer than your second.
Heavy load in the chamber, lighter load on deck, heavier load in reserve.
You would think your first shot would be the closest shot.
Can you not change the plug in your shotgun to handle two 3.5 inch shells in the tube
