Why is that bad news... 1 trillion dollars is nothing nowadays. We have to trust our government as they know what's best for us. The average Canadian should not get involved with government run issues.
We should work hard to make sure they get all the money they need to reach their goal. So no more complaining about user fees or increase taxes, let them do their job, lets stop getting in their way.
They work for us.
It's just money.
Let them run their protection racket as best they see fit. Its only money.
When we run out we will just beg for more. Ask the Greeks.

We care about the environment but not the debt laden future of our children.
The majority voted for them so they are entitled to govern and fill the through as authorized by the electorate.
If the Liberal's stay in power, Canada is f***ed... plain and simple. The monthly interest payments alone are the third largest expense the gov't has and only a complete financial idiot would think that was good. It is just the financial ruin of Canada and the Libs tried sneaking it out and now a few are starting to talk about it!

In the link you can see the clear sabotage or delusional idiocy of the Liberal spending .... think taxes are high now ... wait until term 2 if PM zoolander gets it.

By 2045, the government now projects $1.5 trillion in federal debt.
Just two years ago, Canada was projected to have a $760 billion surplus that same year.
While I was a director with the Canadian Taxpayers Federation in Ontario, I wrote a book about my generation, and the unreasonable tax and spending burden we inherited from spendthrift politicians.
Called Generation Screwed, its message is even more important today.
We went from a PM that knew economics to Gerald Butts puppet PM Zoolander the drama teacher and the Liberals are selling the future for their current power and entitlements. Greece is a good anaology... "persistent unemployment at just under 24%,", I am thinking with Wynne and Butts running things we should see 10% to 12% by the 4th year of Zoolanders term.
Who should lend those fools money.
We have The gst to combat what sr did and the carbon tax to pay for jr. Please dear god don't let there be a third
The Libs have repeatedly talked about why the GST shouldn't have been lowered... I am expecting that to go up this or next year... or both
