Motion 103 - The so-called "Islamophobia bill"

For those who want to keep an eye on Motion 103, the so-called "Islamophobia bill", a private member's motion but now gaining support by the Liberal party, here's the Parliament link:

As Canadians, we'd like to think we have the right to free speech, but it is not as potentially lawfully protected as it is the USA.

I'll refrain from making comments about this lest it comes back to me as "hate speech" after this motion becomes a bill. The only thing that I will say is that Canada already has hate speech laws as it is, and it should be good enough, but alas it is not.

I agree. Our current hate laws should suffice, as they already cover race, religion, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, etc. Why does this specific group need its own version? What's to stop every other group that feels prejudiced against from wanting their own law? Where do you draw the line?

In the sand. They never should have crossed it. Literally.

Simple, the obvious goal isn't about discrimination etc., it's goal for the Libs is to suck up and to get vote by stopping any criticism of Islam

PM Zoolander is pandering to any group he can to try and get votes and continue his reign to our ruin.


What he doesn't realize is how big a hypocrite he is and the views of those he is pandering to. For example I sometimes watch and occasionally notes on "Reflections on Islam" on Canada's Vision TV and my May 22/2016 note Ezz E. Gad repeat something he has said many times that:
"Islam must not be polluted with things like democracy, socialism, capitalism "....

In Ontario and Quebec the Islamophobia law is already passed

The Conservative had a bill was essentially the same but without the Islamophobia clause so equality isn't the reason obviously

HMMM.... Remember Charle Hebdo paper? Now look at who Canada has elected, the Pakistani woman that started this bill, the liar Monsef, Omar Alghabra (fan of sharia and Hamas)..... and Justin Trudope. I cringe at where the ideologues and power hungry are taking Canada.

It will be interesting to see who and what the coverage is of this...

Looking at the pictures we have the pro M103 showing up in face masks and young men.... looking at the other crowd we see grey hairs, women etc. another 4 men beating someone and a woman trying to help.

Interesting the ones who don't support civil rights are also the first to try to take someone else's right away through violence. Why show up to protest with mask unless criminal actions are planned

We already have laws against "hate speech" in all it's forms in this country. Every province has a Human Rights Tribunal (usually a kangaroo court,but,that's a matter for another thread),nevertheless,it's more than adequately covered. Why,all of a sudden,the Liberals feel it's necessary to ram this piece of knee-jerk garbage through looks to me like every other knee-jerk law they've ever tried and that's because somewhere in the dark,there's an ulterior motive. This is simply being used as an excuse for some other nefarious agenda. I wouldn't trust a Liberal if Jesus,himself, had his arm around their shoulder.

The entire Liberal fiasco make me ill. The only light at the end of tunnel is he is doing more harm to his party than it can imagine. If by some act of utter stupidity he gets re-elected, we are pooched. I will head for the hills, buy a goat and re-invent my own country....

I will pipe in here with what arguments about M-103 is all about. I have wrote to all major news media organizations over Canada and regularly comment on different groups.

First off this is distraction politics. I will post two things to prove it.- In January Trudeau was tanking in the polls with his cross Canada tour, next the carbon tax came into effect. Trudeau was taking big hits to his popularity.

Enter the politician - we need something to distract people from bad policy.

Enter M-103, the distraction.

Enter news media to hype it up, news media took it hook, line and sinker.

Result - No one is talking about the hurt of the Carbon tax in Alberta and Ontario. No one is talking about his failed coffee shop tour across Canada.

Fact- You have all been duped, suckered and controlled by this government and the media has played right along. Of course they have to sell papers and have something to make you watch the news for advertising.

FACT - M-103 is not needed as we already have the Criminal Code of Canada, Section 319(2) that covers hate crimes. But you didn't know it, further proof again this distraction politics. I find it rather sad that the average person has fallen for this. I find it sad that the media is pushing this, I find it sad that government is doing this. I also say the government is doing this and causing divides, the same divides they say the Cons did.

National Post - I challenge you to call and interview me on air about this subject. I won't hold my breath. But maybe this will sweeten the pot for you. I will be running in the 2018 Ontario Provincial Election in 2018 for the Libertarian Party in Nepean Ontario.
