Value: Ithaca Model 37 Featherlight pump in 16

I found a Ithaca Model 37 Featherlight pump in 16 gauge.
The 16 has always been my favorite and I have a single. Were these decent guns. What would be the value of this.

Here is the description:
Ithaca Model 37 Featherlight. Modified Choke (rare). Good overall condition but significant bluing wear/pitting on the left side of receiver/barrel.

Luv my 37. Also have one in 16. set up for slugs. These are great guns. wanna sell?

Thy are a great working shotgun .and in 16g thy are perfect little shotgun.

Any idea what it's worth?

Depends on condition, I saw one with a full choke for $350 and they were not budging at all, I have not looked too hard into buying one though.

Awesome shotgun's GW. You likely will not find a smoother operating pump anywhere. I have my Grandpa's 12 featherlight and killed my first deer,ducks, grouse ect with it and will never part with it. In the condition you describe I would conservatively say $225 - $250. Pictures would help.

He only gave one picture his asking price is 300.00. I was thinking of offering 225.00 I havent seen it yet as he's in the military and headed out for 2 weeks. As soon as he's back he will call.

I always loved the 16 I do have an old single that I took a few geese with many years ago.. Just seems to be a shotgun an all purpose shotgun. Perfect for bunnies, grouse and turkey and if it could shoot steel would have been decent for ducks and geese and a bit more punch then a 20 for deer.

I've shot my father's 37 Featherweight in 12 gauge and it is a nice gun. He used to carry it for ducks when he was younger. No complaints. If it's in decent shape with only the bluing/handling wear on the side you'd be good to get it anywhere in the $250-$275 range.

Higher one is $275. You'd figure a little more for the rarer 16 and a little less for the retail price/mark up. You're in the ballpark.

Buy factory ammo when you can at good prices and get a Lee Loader in 16ga, the pickup a ton of wads, just in case.
