I own land in WMU 65 and close by there is theses wooded lots. neighbors said it was crown land. I went to the town office and found one was labeled as Provence of Ontario Infrastructure the other as OPG. I assume the first is crown land? OPG i'm not sure about its rules.
any info would be appreciated.
You could have probably had those answered at the Township Office....:)

I guess the township considers it a private land....I see OPG doesn't usually allow hunting on their properties:

Dan Smith, manager of provincial enforcement compliance for the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources, said hunters are generally allowed to use crown land or private property, if the landowner has granted permission.
"If they're caught trespassing, and the landlord doesn't want them there or he's posted the property, they can be subject to charges under our official wildlife statute or under the Trespass To Property Act," Smith said
If it's owned by a public entity and it's not posted,it's huntable land.Quote:

In your case.. Its tricky because its an actual piece of land owned by OPG... And trying to find someone who works for a government funded institution to sign your OFAH permission slip? Good luck on anyone there taking responsability for a signature
