Trail/Game Cameras
Well, I just got on some new property and one of my cameras just took a dump. So I’m looking for a camera maybe two, I don’t want to break the bank either.... let’s say under 130?? Give or take.
I plan on getting a card view so having on on the camera won’t be necessary. Would like to have sound, video and decent night mode.
What would you recommend?
Thank you

Simmons black LED 5MP-best value for the money.
You can buy it many times for 70$ at SAIL,uses 4 pcs of AA batteries, good on battery life, takes large capacity SD card, the pictures are pretty good, reasonable range, good trigger time,5 sec lap time,no auxiliary equipment to program it.............life is good.

I have had Stealth Cameras... they are OK, WildGame... sucked, Wildview... you get what you pay for. My partner bought a 2-pack of Moultrie... good photos.
BUT my favorite manufacturer is Spypoint. You can get the Spypoint Force 10 at TSC on sale right now for $129, their regular price is $159, if you look at Cabela's they are asking $169. Check out the reviews for it on various sites, all 4 stars or better.
These are from an older model; but were enough to convince me the brand to go for.

I threw out 2 Wildgame cams that died last fall, would buy more Moultries if any myself. Have picked up some off brands from Amazon for$75-$80 that work OK, just a learning curve with their programming.

My spypoints have lasted 5 yrs, and my bushnells have been good, but my Moultries seem to outlast the rest. I picked up one of these A-30s in the fall, and added 2 more recently. I can't justify paying over $100 for a trailcam these days.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...fc481c6822.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...9bfef5042e.jpg

I have had Spypoint and Wildgame cameras and now use Stealth, I have found them better than the others for various reasons, including ease of set up, and longer battery life.

Been using Coverts (own 9 of them) for years but lately the Browning Strike Force Elite.
Check out the reviews on this one. It's been at the top of the reviews for 2 yrs now.
Based on speed, pic quality, ease of use, dependability, battery life, etc etc. when all combined it's the winner for the price.
We bought three before fall bear season and they're still going strong. I wouldn't take a Stealth Cam for free! Their warrantee and customer service just doesn't exist. I can tell horror stories of the crap unit I had right out of the box. I shipped it back then got the run around every 2 weeks for 8 months while they waited for the slow boat from China to return it. I got someone else's camera all scratch to shyte. There was even a video on the internal memory of some redneck on it. Still doesn't work. Cost me about $40 in shipping on top of it all. Stealthcam don't do it - sorry Mr Shockey ! Moultrie lost me years ago with some inferior designs. Just never went back. Bushnell trophy cam is just a copy of the Covert. I have a spypoint too. Seems like a pretty good cam. no issues.
