Pretty hard to predict the US thinks this will be around till August. Some countries are not releasing many numbers like North Korea, its in South Korea. When do we have confidence that the whole thing has leveled of in say China with 1.3 billion people. When do you allow flights to and from those countries. If the stock market keeps falling camping is about all we will be able to afford.
We will all just have to wait and see. I wouldn’t make any long range plans until we see the impact of the next few weeks.
I am guessing that some on here would call a hunting - camping trip , 'essential travel', the rest of our countries citizens, not so much.
Still planning to spring bear hunt but looks less and less likely. Fall hopefully the dust will have settled. In the mean time gonna ice fish until the ice is gone.
I see no reason why this would interfere with my group's spring bear plans this year. Stopping for fuel on the drive up is really the only human interaction that we have.
It would depend on how they structure any shutdown. If they follow other countries and state a Shelter in Place, like Spain has I believe, you are to remain in your home, you may walk your dog, go to the pharmacy or grocery store, or to work; but only if you have paperwork... I am assuming only certain occupations would be permitted.
On that note, we are headed out this weekend for Snow Geese.
Police were checking, fines could be laid, it was on the news either Spain, or France, could have been Italy.
Ya, i totally get that. For myself, i'm fairly unaffected by all this. Turns out i've been practicing good "social distancing" all my life. ha! Wife is on mat leave for the next year as we had a baby boy born in October, so school shutdowns haven't changed anything for us. For work, i've just switched from working-from-home 3 days a week, to 5. As for the other 3 guys in my group, i think they are in good situations as well. But we'll see. In the mean time, i'm going to start accumulating bait as usual.
