Here is a Toronto park today. No social distancing, few if any masks. In the next 4 weeks I guess we’ll see if this covid thing is a big hoax!

Maybe natures way of removing the tards.
We could say the same thing in a very bad flu season.
Everywhere has been extremely busy since Thursday. The nice weather is here.
Did we even ever shut down is the question ?
Some yeah I personally have seen things remain the same since the beginning. Then with the lack of testing in Ontario it's just been a complete shlt show.

Back before Christmas Karen and the other staff at the Hospital were getting sick with a " Nasty Flu " that would knock them down for about two weeks.
Now the Covid-19 comes along, and a few of the staff get sick( testing Positive for Covid-19) and have to stay home.
Thing is none of the staff that were sick "before" Christmas have been infected with Covid-19, only students that starting working in the Hospital after January.
Why is that? What could the "Nasty Flu " they all got in October and November have to do with none of them getting Covid-19?
How many of the staff have been/are infected with no symptoms? Why does the Ontario Health system basicly avoid testing ?
On average there are 12,200 hospitalization per year in Canada and 3,500 deaths. The number of people hospitalized is low due to the availability of flu shots.
Covid-19 on the other hand, has already killed 6,466 Canadians in less than 3 months. As there is no vaccination available, the number of deaths caused by Covid-19 will continue to increase until a vaccination can be developed.
Think about this, in 3 months almost twice the number of Canadians have died from Covid-19 than die from the flu in a year. The death rate for the flu is 1% but the number of cases is low due to immunization. Covid-19 has a death rate of 3.5% and there will be more cases than the flu until a vaccine is given to Canadians.
There’s no happy medium. By Labour Day we’ll either all be wondering what the fuss was about or they’ll be stacking corpses outside every old folks home in the province from the second wave
Those 3500 deaths will still happen, along with heart attacks, and every other fatal sickness or disease. Covid 19 now adds an additional 6 or 7 or even 8000 deaths to that tally.
J the Spanish flu( it was even a flu) killed 55,000 Canadians, so far we have been doing good relative to that. I am also wondering how many of those roughly 6500 deaths are really because of other causes.
If a senior dies of flu, but is never tested did the doctor attribute it to Covid-19? The symptoms are very similar, and Covid-19 is the hot trending thing. Or a person has heart failure, well having flu/Covid-19 symptoms. We may never know in some of the cases.
With the large gatherings of young health people over the long weekend, there will only one of two possibilities.
1) Covid-19 wipes out Thousands if not more.
2) We finally have strong evidence that the people at high risk from Covid-19 are exactly the same people at high risk from the flu.
The death rate may be relatively low in the general population, and going forward a Covid-19 season may have a decreasing numbers of deaths each year simply because as people become seniors their past exposure is going to give us an immune population.
Can only see the top photo but are the photos a hoax?
