Correct oil/gas mix

I have a 20 Hp Evinrude that I got when my cousin died last year - I think motor is about 10-15years old.
I’m just used to 4-stroke engines - what is the correct oil to gas mix for these motors?

Evinrude use 100;1 but you can run 50;1

Agreed, but with a high end synthetic 2 stroke oil like Amsoil they do say you can get away with 100:1

might have to try that...do you think it would help a 2 stroke cold start easier with less oil?

50:1

I think for 100 to 1 you are referring to Amsoil Sabre not designed for outboards though. That's is made for small engines like chainsaws.
Amsoil marine oil is 50 to 1.
