Two thoughts on this...
1) The hunter(s) that did this are idiots...
2) This is a well staged setup.
The pile and placement of the shell boxes look like a photo done by a professional studio.

I suspect its a little of both leaning more towards the latter. Someone crass enough to dump cormorants basically in public view isn't going to collect the empty boxes where they were shot to dump them alongside. Further seems a little coincidental that the professional photographer who made comments against hunting happens to be the one who makes the find.Quote:
